We launched Hood Seating in 2017 as a dynamic, inspiring company born to deliver well-being and quality beyond the conventions of traditional seating companies. We took an entirely new approach focusing on providing quality ergonomic seating quickly and cost-effectively. This approach allows us to work closely with our dealer network and help them serve their customers with better value products without compromising on design, features or comfort.

We don’t sell direct. We work with a number of carefully selected dealerships who share our vision to provide a complete task seating solution.

We all deserve to have our bodies supported correctly. Hood Seating encourages dynamic movement to improve our blood flow so we feel great and are focused to work.

Where once ergonomics was about preventing or mitigating harm, it is now about helping people be more healthy, productive and active.

High-end seating manufacturers recognised the importance of muscle movement and engineer chairs to encouraged people to shift position whilst seated. This movement stimulates the muscles; increases blood flow, relieves pressure points and helps with concentration.

Our unique patented chairs have been designed so that every component can be removed and replaced to deliver extreme long life. Replacing damaged parts is good for our environment too.

Our success is built on keeping our promises. We hold stock of Fast-track models to meet the needs of our customers in a timely and reliable manner. We run frequent quality control checks and when we say we'll do something, we will - on time and on budget. In the unlikley event of any issues with the product, the chairs have a ten year guarantee and we can replace parts quickly to ensure that our chairs' life-spans are extended, helping to reduce unnecessary inconvenience and expenditure.

PERFORMANCE ASSURANCE

We are committed to giving our customers quality products, suitable for the UK market. Our product development processes include: specifying the design of the products in-line with market trends; meeting the necessary strength and stability tests; production line checks and final checks as the products enter our warehouse and are dispatched to customers.

According to the 5459 Standards, chairs that meet this standard are considered to be structurally suitable and sufficiently stable for use as an office task chair for users up to 8st to 23.5st.

Hood Seating respect that many of our customers need this certification for their tenders, and are delighted to continually add models that have been designed and accessed in accordance with the ergonomic requirements of BS 5459.

All chairs which meet these requirements have it specified and the BS 5459 badge shown on page. All our best-selling Fast-Track models have this trusted certificate!

Our mesh, fabrics and foam have also been put through rigorous testing. Certification documents are available on request.
