It's now almost 2 years since we launched the Hood Seating brand and 18 months since our first Ergonomic chairs landed in showrooms around the country. We would like to thank our customers.
Since then we have expanded our seating range and have upgraded marketing materials, packaging and toolkits to make the whole experience simpler and more efficient. Our team has also grown to help us provide an even better customer service.

We run frequent quality control checks and when we say we'll do something, we will - on time and on budget. In the unlikley event of any issues with the product, the chairs have a ten year guarantee and we can replace parts quickly to ensure that our chairs' life-spans are extended, helping to reduce unnecessary inconvenience and expenditure.

24/7 PERFORMANCE ASSURANCE


We are committed to giving our customers quality products, suitable for the UK market. Our product development processes include: specifying the design of the products in-line with market trends; meeting the necessary strength and stability tests; production line checks and final checks as the products enter our warehouse and are dispatched to customers.

According to the 5459 Standards,  chairs that meet this standard are considered to be structurally  suitable and sufficiently stable for use as Office Task Chair for users up to 150kg and for up to 24 hours per day.

Hood Seating respect that many of our customers need this certification for their tenders, and are delighted that we continue to add models that have been designed and accessed in accordance with the ergonomic requirements of BS 5459.

All chairs which meet these requirements have the 5459 badge shown on page.

Our mesh, fabrics and foam have also been put through rigorous testing. Certification documents are available on request.
