Made from 100% recycled polyester, this fabric is bleach cleanable & Washable at 60°C. The high flame retardancy, durability, and non-pilling properties make it ideal for task seating.

EN Fire Source 0 Tested

A European (EN) fire safety standard for upholstered furniture that tests against a smouldering cigarette (EN 1021-1). It's a UK requirement for any upholstered product that will be placed in a low-hazard environment, such as a single-family occupied private house and offices under 280m².

A European (EN) fire safety standard for upholstered furniture that tests against a small flame, like a match (EN 1021-2). It's a UK requirement for any upholstered product that will be placed in a low-hazard environment, such as a single-family occupied private house and offices under 280m².

BS Crib 5 Fire Tested

A British standard for upholstered furniture in medium-risk environments, such as Schools, larger offices, pubs, retail units, and residential buildings where more than one family lives, i.e., an apartment block or student accommodation. Crib 5 is a more intense fire test using a wooden "Crib" of 17g soaked with a flammable liquid (Source 5).

Certified for Low Hazard Environments

This product is suitable for Low Fire Hazard environments, such as single-family occupied private houses, waiting rooms, and offices under 280m². To achieve this, the British Standard (BS 7176) requires it to have passed two applications of a smouldering cigarette (as per EN 1021-1) and three applications of a match flame ignition source (as per EN 1021-2), which are applied to the cover and filling composite.

Certified for Medium Hazard Environments

This product is suitable for Medium-Fire-Hazard environments, such as Schools, larger offices, pubs, retail units, and residential buildings where more than one family lives, i.e., an apartment block or student accommodation. To achieve this, the British Standard (BS 7176) requires it to have passed the tests for a ‘Low Hazard’ environment, in addition to a flame ignition source 5 (Crib 5) test. This ignition source five test must be done on the combination of the cover and filling(s) together.

10 Year Guarantee

Camira offers a 10-year warranty on its own fabric used in this product, so long as the end user has carried out regular cleaning, usage hasn't exceeded 8 hours a day, and it's only been subjected to 'normal' wear and tear with no misuse. They reserve the right to investigate on-site any claim arising from the guarantee.

Certification

Heavy Duty Resistence

Independently certified to withstand over 100,000 Martindale rub cycles before wear and tear, such as pilling or thread breakage, begins to show. Anything exceeding 30,000 cycles is suitable for the highest-traffic areas of offices and hospitals, where the product will be in constant use.
